Corey Rathgeber who first appeared on 90 Day Fiancé was arrested for driving under the influence while in his home state of Washington. Corey has been in the news in the past for spending time with Larissa Dos Santos Lima as well as have been accused of cheating on his fiancé.

Rathgeber and Evelin Villegas both appeared on the very first season of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way where Corey made the decision to give up everything in the United States to go try and make a life with Villegas in her home country of Ecuador where she lived in a small town. The two have had to deal with the recent death of his father, as well as a cheating scandal, which left the two on shaky ground.

Rathgeber had been a naughty reality star as 2019 came to a close. Soap Dirt reported that the TLC alum was arrested on November 15th, 2019 in Skamania, Washington for a DUI. The police report revealed some interesting information regarding the reality star’s arrest which said that a deputy had stopped him while he was driving home after a day out at a brewery.

The police report stated that the 90 Day Fiancé star claimed that he had only drunk two beers before getting behind the wheel which he drank hours before. The police report claimed that the reality star refused to take a breathalyzer at the site of his traffic stop. The Washington native did, however, fail other sobriety checks resulting in the officer arresting him at the scene. Rathgerber was then breath tested once he arrived at the police station. Washington state’s legal drinking limit is .08 and Rathgeber’s result was .133 which would indicate he drank at least five alcoholic beverages. The police officer noted that the reality star seemed confused and thought that if he did not submit to a breathalyzer test that he would not be arrested. The police officer said that the 90 Day Fiancé star also had bloodshot eyes and smelled of alcohol.

After he was arrested, Rathgeber’s mother picked him up from the local station and proceeded to take him home. The reality star’s court date has changed multiple times, but the most recent appearance was set for a hearing in June 2020, but Rathgeber is already back in Ecuador with his wife Evelin. The two were posting throwback pictures of themselves on their social media, letting fans know that they were living their best life and not worrying about the arrest of the hearings that will happen later in the year.
