Natalie of 90 Day Fiancé has called off her engagement to Mike after an awkward visit. Mike told Natalie that she had been acting like a child the whole trip as he boarded his plane home to America.
Mike and Natalie are one of the newer couples to the 90 Day Fiancé franchise and have already given viewers some uncomfortable moments thanks to their differences in religion, culture, family values and of course a language barrier. The two originally met through Mike’s friend, Matt. Mike’s close friend is married to a Ukrainian woman and asked Mike to be the godfather to their newborn. The Washington state native then met the godmother, who turned out to be Natalie and was influenced - thanks to his friend for showing him pictures of the Kyiv native - to ask her out on a date. After many arguments on his recent trip to the Ukraine, it came to a head on the last day together.
During a couple’s confessional, producers asked Natalie about her true feelings toward her fiancé Mike. Natalie, taking a very long pause, finally answered that she was not sure if she was in love with him. The couple did not have much time to sort out their latest argument as Mike had to board a plane and return stateside. During their final encounter, Natalie actually took the engagement ring off her finger and threw it into his suitcase, apparently ending their engagement.
While Mike sat in the taxi, Natalie made one final attempt to be awkward and jumped in with him for the drive. The airport excursion was uncomfortable as she tried to be affectionate toward her now ex-fiancé and telling him it will be ok. Before walking away from the blonde, Mike told her that she was being childish and that they are not living “in a perfect world” where he will automatically apologize when she believed he should. The Ukrainian native was left dumbfounded as she watched Mike walk toward his departure gate after she refused to give him a goodbye hug.
Fans were not left in utter shock at Mike’s decision to take a step back due to Natalie’s odd behavior. She had overreacted more than once which included her nonexistent children, her religion, and then the confessional drama. As for Mike, producers asked the question of where they stood with Mike replying that their status was unknown. The reality star left viewers with a cliff hanger saying that he would reach out to Natalie in a couple of days when he felt ready. Fans will have to wait until next week’s episode to find out what ultimately happened to the couple.
